Since my childhood; I was told by my elders at home, by my teachers at
school that I have to be always honest, truthful, caring and kind. I may not be
perfect yet, still believe that some of these virtues still exist within me. I
am sure, most of us in general hold these virtues, may not be hundred percent,
but to a large extent.
When you grow up and start facing the real world; all things are not
the same. You come across scenarios where dishonesty thrives, non-ethics gain
prosperity, incompetence is promoted, lies get attention and untrustworthy
attains authority. Basically you come face to face with absolute useless
bullshitters.
But no one taught me how to deal with these animals and live in a
world holding your virtues high; neither my elders nor my school teachers. It
is basically up to me to jump into the puddles and learn as I get splashed with
mud.
