When you have people working for you, it brings added responsibility. You are no more responsible for your own deliverables as an individual contributor, rather you are now responsible for combined outcome of the team.
More than deliverables, it demands change in your attitude and behavior. There is a saying that people leave because of bosses. That is true.
They expect to work for a trustworthy person, who cares about them. They also expect the boss to be sending and spreading positive vibe as they need everyday dose of inspiration.
Now you need to be the person that the team wants you to be.
